A position has become available at our Day Respite Centre in Howard for a person to oversee the running of the Respite Centre, plus the care coordination and services of our Support at Home services.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Aged Care Coordinator / Manager to lead the day to day operations of our Day Respite Centre while overseeing the coordination and quality delivery of Support at Home services.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines people management, client coordination, compliance and service quality while working closely with clients, families, staff and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the daily operations of the Day Respite Centre
· Coordinate and oversee Support at Home services and care delivery
· Lead, support and supervise care staff and coordinators
· Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and funding guidelines
· Conduct client assessments, care planning, and reviews
· Liaise with clients, families, allied health professionals and other stakeholders
· Manage rosters, service schedules and operational resources
· Respond to incidents, feedback and continuous improvement activities
· Contribute to service growth, quality improvement and reporting
About You
You are a confident and empathetic leader with strong organisational and communications skills, and a passion for support older people.
Essential Criteria:
· Experience in aged care coordination and management
· Strong understanding of Support at Home services
· Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
· Proven ability to lead and support staff
· Excellent client, family and stakeholder engagement skills
· Strong documentation, reporting and office skills
· Current Australian Driver’s Licence
· Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable:
· Relevant qualification in Aged Care, Community Services, Nursing or Health Management
· Experience in a day respite or centre-based program
· Knowledge of funding, invoicing and service scheduling systems
